the smile happened cause we didn't know that hell is waiting for us ^^

3 days of HELL!!!
this is the brief about the job .
basically , tammy was asked by the supervisor to help her furing the F1 race .
we're serving under the beverage department .
this department cater to fucking lots of events during three days of stay .
we're doing for f1 in paddock , singapore flyers , our own in-house bars around 3 or them .
so we're running around like mad!!
we have to serve for all places and our man power is limited .
first day , we have 5 of use doing singapore flyer , me tammy paul and david .
our supervisor is andy , a nice malaysian guys . all under the manager alvin :)
first day alvin told us , all the rookies will be under the ex-workers which they have called back .
every ex-workers have the power to ask you to go home and alvion will make sure that those sacked wont even get paid a single cent! good . i like ^^




first day job :
free flow of drinks in the drink stand in buffet style .
we provide champagne , red white wine , soft drinks , juices and hard liquors of course ^^
we thought pouring mixing wont be off too much chit . dead wrong people .
we stock the glasses 5 kinds of glasses! high-ball , rock glass , wine glass , beer glass and cognac .
wine , high ball and champagne used up by the rate of 2-3 racks at 1 meal .
we provide 3 meals , high tea , dinner and supper . 3pm to 11.30 pm .
2 half an hour interval for us to top up glasses . there are 64 glasses in a rack . crazy drinkers -.-
meals for us were given free flow .
eat as much as you want! its in the lunch boxes . lunch then smoke then run up again!
work around 14 hours per day , sitting time is not even 1 hour .




2nd day job :
about the same during the first part fo the day . pack up , stock up then push them to flyers .
but tthis time . the distance is abbout 1 km -.-
we have to walk around the road , they are closed .
up down up down marina square -.- lol .
our clothes from dry to wet then to dry then to wet again! crazy shit man .
after preparing , tea time starts at 3 .
it was at 2 the other day , then andy our supervisor told me to go back to hotel and help out with them , the event were out of expectations and man power really not enough .
i went back then do all the work by myself! they start at 8 .
other workers will only come around 4 . so i stick round like crazy man with supervisor .
fill in ice caddy , push liqueurs around , glasses also . dieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee . . .
workers came in . i stationed at pool bar side . its a cash bar .
only when its about to open , cb , supervisor asked me to go in to club house do mixing .
i attend that fucking stand with a noob girl -.-
i do the lychee martini and their special drink , blue-bull .
its a standard chartered bank event .
catering to around 100 people . we worked like dog man .
all of the waitress are interns . WTF! i have to cover their asses by running in and out taking orders from the guests . pre-made the martinis first , then run in and out to serve them .
fucking hell . i cant stand after 2 o'clock . i start the day at 9 !!!




day 3 . batt level close to zero .
although start at 2 . they still count my pay from 11 ^^ yea baby!!!
this is what u get if u can ' zhuo ren' lol .
final day , wanted to take an mc so much . but i shall try to face what ever challenge coming .
i will ask for front service . straight dealing with guests . yea man!
meet this 2 guys . really very nice! Sp and mervin!
mervin is a cute boy la . sp is a matured and nice china student . experienced ex ritz bar-tender
mervin a super drinker i think . he's got the nice boy boy face! damn . why cant i get some girls .
got nice girls also la . but no chance lei , only talked to them . havent ask number yet .
come in office , change to black polo . stock up everything as usual , now i know the routes like the back of my hand ^^ then sp came . it's really very nice working with him!
he mentioned this : we are just trying to make a living , we should not make each other's life difficult, and we shall cover for everyone adn get the job flowing as good as possible :)
i love that sentence man! but doesn't mean he's a slack . he will straight away tell you in the face , you cant do it this way , or you will never make it to ritz standard . true enough .
although its not any of the worker's problem to smile or treat work more seriously .
its the pride people , in hospitality this field , look at the high posts , the earn it . 10 year , 15 years , its all their hard work . looking at my adaptability , i can ^^ 2 years? haha
we have to learn without being told at all man! listen , watch , observe and self conscious!




last day of hell!

no . its a portable bar . 1 helped the guy over there . another nice malaysian! tony ^^
he gave me the normal look when i came beside him to empty his stuffs , then when the folks came to him like 8 orders at 1 go , i did his orders!
no joke , i did it faster than him!
hehehehehe . delicate hands and fast brains . attractive?
evrything went fast . pour here pour there . re-stock cups , open wines .
3 days . my hands opened 10 cartons of soft drink .
20 bottles of champagne and 50 bottles of wine!



3 days .
